With the official opening on January 2,1963 of Talisman Ski Resort, Ontario was introduced to the most elaborate ski lodge ever built in the province. Twenty-six rooms and two large dormitories made up the main chalet.
By 1964, Talisman became a year-round resort with the additions of a golf course and swimming pool. It was with these additions that the resort welcomed the world to Ontario’s premier four-season destination, and where the Resort guest began to truly cherish the charming character of the village of Kimberley and the unique landscape of the Beaver Valley.
Today, Talisman is a haven for passionate hikers, golfers, bikers, skiers, snowboarders and for those simply needing a place to recharge. It offers 88 guest rooms with genuinely comfortable and relaxing accommodations, 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
