Located at the Rotary Pavilion at the Meaford Harbour, the Meaford Farmers’ Market showcases some of the best tastes, arts, crafts and sounds that the Meaford and surrounding area has to offer! The Meaford Farmers’ Market offers a wide-array of marvelous edibles including: a diversity of fresh vegetables, fruits and meats, honey, maple syrup, lots of pickles, salsas, jams, jellies, relishes and chutneys, whole-grain breads, flatbreads and pretzels, hemp products, pies, baked-goods, donuts, apple fritters, East Indian cuisine, gelato, belgium waffles, cheeses, fudge, perogies and other Polish cuisine, dried and fresh-cut herbs and flowers and edible perennial plants! If you are thirsty, there will be a nice selection of beverages such as locally-roasted, fair trade organic coffee, canned tomato juice and freshly-squeezed juices. There are lots of arts and crafts such as: paintings, cards, handmade people and barbie clothes, toys, wire art and beaded jewelry, glass pendants, painted stone jewelry, buckwheat hull pillows. Need any personal care products? There are a selection of creams and salves made from homegrown herbs and designer soaps.

The Meaford Library is present from the end of June until the end of August with the Children's Tent, offering a number of kids stories and crafts each week, as well as the Education Table and the Kids Toys and Games Table! New this past year, there were many interesting and interactive events which included: a ‘Cirque-du-Soleil’-style workshop facilitated by the Angola Murdock of the Grey Bruce Youth Circus group, ‘Hockey Day at the Market’ and the Longest Day of Play on June 21st!

The directors for the 2013 season were pleased to keep the intent of the founders of The Meaford Farmers’ Market by continuing to create "A Friday Happening In Meaford”!
